Where We Started

Thrift4Gaza started as a simple idea: what if we could turn our love for secondhand fashion into something that matters?

In a world where fast fashion dominates and communities often feel disconnected from global struggles, we saw an opportunity to bridge both gaps. Our first pop-up was small—a handful of racks, some donated clothes, and a lot of heart. But the response was overwhelming.

People showed up not just to shop, but to connect. They wanted to know the stories behind the cause, to understand where their money was going, and to feel like they were part of something bigger than a transaction.

That energy became the foundation of everything we do.

Our Values

What drives us forward

Why Thrift Culture

Thrifting is more than sustainable fashion—it's a rejection of waste culture and an embrace of intentionality. Every piece has a story, and every purchase here writes a new chapter for someone in need.

Community Involvement

Our events are powered entirely by volunteers, artists, and community members who donate their time, skills, and goods. No paid staff. No overhead. Just people helping people.

Radical Transparency

We believe you deserve to know exactly where your money goes. Every donation, every sale, every expense is documented and shared. No vague percentages—real numbers, real impact.

Direct Aid

We work directly with families in Gaza, bypassing large organizational bureaucracy. Your support reaches real people with real needs, not administrative budgets.

Transparency Note

Every dollar raised through Thrift4Gaza goes directly to individuals and families in Gaza.

We maintain complete transparency about our operations. We have no paid staff, no administrative fees, and no overhead costs that eat into donations. Our volunteers donate their time, venues donate their space, and our community donates the goods we sell.

When you support Thrift4Gaza, you are directly supporting families rebuilding their lives. We work with verified individuals and share updates about how funds are used.
